CBI REGISTERS THREE CASES RELATING TO INCIDENTS OF ALLEGED RAPE, VIOLENCE ETC IN DISTRICT UNNAO (UTTAR PRADESH)
The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered three separate cases relating to certain incidents including alleged rape, violence etc in District Unnao( Uttar Pradesh) on the request from Uttar Pradesh Government and further Notification from Government of India.
The first case has been registered after taking over the investigation of case crime no. 96 of 2018 earlier registered at Police Station Makhi, District Unnao (UP) u/s 363, 366, 376, 506 of IPC & 3/4 of POSCO Act on a complaint against a private person and an MLA, both residents of Village Makhi, District Unnao(UP).
The second case has been registered after taking over the investigation of case crime no. 89/2018, earlier registered at Police Station Makhi, District Unnao(UP) u/s 323, 504, 506 of IPC and 3/25 of Arms Act on a complaint against a private person resident of Village, Sarai Thok, Malkhi, District Unnao(UP).
The third case has been registered after takng over the investigation of case crime no. 90 of 2018, earlier registered at Police Station Makhi, District Unnao(UP) u/s 147, 323, 504 of IPC on a complaint against four accused, residents of Village Sarai Thok, Makhi, District Unnao and unknown others.
CBI is conducting thorough investigation including examining/interrogating the accused persons, the victims, relevant witnesses and others etc.
